Rebecka Liljeberg

Still someone visiting this site? Really? I am sorry for not bringing any updates during the last year, but there hasn't been much to write about really. Rebecka Liljeberg has not made any public appearances or been involved in any discussions about new films. Not that I know of, anyway.
 
But last Friday Rebecka made a surprise guest appearance in the talk show "Sen kväll med Luuk" (Late evening with Luuk) in the Swedish channel TV4. She substituted for Alexandra Dahlström, away on holiday in Italy, as house-DJ for the show. Rebecka selected music to play when the guests came into the studio.
 
I missed the program on Friday, but luckily was informed about it in time for the rerun on Sunday. Here follows a summary of what we learned about Rebecka's current life, when TV host Kristian Luuk chatted with her between the guests.

Luuk: "So what do you do nowadays?"
Rebecka: "I am studying to become a physician. Complete turnaround!"
Luuk: "How are you doing? Are you smart? Have you passed any exams?" (smiling)
Rebecka: "Yes, I have passed all exams, actually. So far."
Luuk: "That's great. And you have studied for about 1 1/2 years?"
Rebecka: "Yes, correct."
Luuk: "Tell me, by that time have you already decided if to become a brain surgeon or child doctor, for instance?"
Rebecka: "Oh no, far from it. That is way way in the future."
Luuk: "So this is a 26 year education, right?" (smiling)
Rebecka: "Yes, something like that!" (laughing)
Luuk: "I also see from here that you have a bun in the oven, that you are expecting a child."
Rebecka: "Exactly!" (puts her hands on her belly)
Luuk: "Very nice! And again! You already have a child."
Rebecka: "Exactly."
Luuk: "So things are moving fast for you. But you look like 14!" (smiling) [Rebecka is actually 23]
Rebecka: "Yes, I do get some glances on the street!" (laughing)
Luuk: "Like, if you're at the child clinic, they say Well, so it is your big sister coming today! "
Rebecka: "Yes, exactly!" (smiling)
(later) Luuk: "It is really nice to have you here. How was it to select the music?"
Rebecka: "It was hard, but really fun".
Luuk: "Have you worked as DJ before, at a restaurant?"
Rebecka: "No. Never. At home!"
Luuk: "With the child." (smiling) "By the way, do have a photo of him? What is his name?"
Rebecka: "Yes, here" (pointing at the picture on the desk) "Teodor".
(later) Luuk: "Rebecka, it has been very nice to have you here. You are welcome back any time you wish!"
Rebecka: "Thank you for letting me come!" (applause and whistles from the audience)
